Tony is a Chartered Accountant and a former (General Aviation) Pilot with extensive Airline/Airport Operational and management experience including Ground Handling, Network Operations, Route Studies, Safety, Flight Dispatch, and Business unit mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
A major project in 2005/6 saw him manage the acquisition, in Amman Jordan, of the Royal Jordanian Flight crew training center (www.jats.com.jo) and establish the strategic direction for the new owners of Jordan Airline Training & Simulation (JATS) which has since developed into a major training-provider in the Middle East.
In mid-2007 he returned to Offshore IFR helicopter operations as General Manager of Jayrow Helicopters based at Moorabbin in Melbourne.
From June 2010 until August 2011 he, and his fellow Director at Periploi Brian Stapleton, lead a team of 10 advisers in Dublin Ireland to manage the T2 Operational Readiness and Airline Transition (ORAT) project for the national carrier Aer Lingus. The new Terminal 2 opened as planned in November 2010.
Most recently in 2015 he was CFO of a start-up airline in the emerging aviation environment of Myanmar and is now based in Bangkok.
