I studied Mathematics at Fudan University as an undergrad, and obtained my PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago in 2001. I met my colleague and future husband Radu in Chicago, and we were lucky to join the University of Toronto at the same time in 2001. Since 2014, I split my time between Biostatistics (25%) of Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Department of Statistical Sciences (75%) of Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto.
