Vinich Promarak,Dean of School of Molecular Science and Engineering of Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology, Thailand.He received his Ph. D. in 2002 from Oxford University working with Paul Burn. He began as aLecturer of Chemistry in 2002 at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2007. In 2013, he was appointed as Full Professor in Chemistry at Institute of Science, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. He then moved to Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand, as Dean of School of Molecular Science and Engineering(2015-). He was presented many awards includingThailand’s Young Scientist Awards in 2007, the Thailand Research Fund Outstanding Research Award in 2015 and 2014, the National Research Council of Thailand Outstanding Research Award in 2013, Asian Core Program Lectureship Award in 2009 and 2012, TRF-CHE-Scopus Research Awards in 2013, and Wiley–Chemical Society of Thailand Outstanding Publication Award in 2011. Recently, he was awarded as the 2016 Outstanding National Researcher (Chemistry) by the National Research Council of Thailand. His research interests involve around "high-tech" organic materials that can be used in applications such as organic light-emitting diode (OLED), perovskite/dye-sensitized solar cell, bulk heterojunction solar cell, sensor, optical switch, organic field-effect transistor.To date, he has co-authored more than 115 peer-reviewed papers, and hispublications have been cited over 2300 times with current H-index of 28 based on the Google Scholar data base.
