Jayant Somani is a Sr. Director at Cypress Semiconductor where he runs the Bluetooth Low Energy product line. He has over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience in various low power wireless connectivity technologies, including Bluetooth and WiFi. Prior to Cypress, Jayant worked in several marketing and engineering management roles at Conexant, TI and Agere Systems. Jayant has a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from BITS, Pilani. Jayant holds 2 patents.
