James Garner is the head of the unit development office for Asia-Pacific at Sanofi, where he focuses on external innovation in the region. He is based in Singapore. Prior to joining Sanofi, he was regional vice president of research and development for Asia at Takeda and regional medical director at Quintiles. Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, Garner spent several years working as a management consultant with Bain & Co. A physician by training, Garner received a B.S. from University College, London, and an M.B.A. from the University of Queensland.
